SALLY BATES

As a Dispensing Optician lecturing in the field of optics since 1993, Sally is passionate and enthusiastic about her profession. She endeavors to instill these qualities and professional skills in her students by relating optical topics to ‘real life’ experiences in practice and dealing with patients. Sally is the proprietor of SpecsEducation offering online and face-to-face training courses for all sectors of the optical profession. She had the pleasure and honour of lecturing and examining on behalf of ABDO both in the UK and overseas. Sally lectured at the ABDO College and currently locums in practice as a self-employed Dispensing Optician.
