Sònia Travé Huarte

Η Dr. Sònia Travé Huarte is a postdoctoral researcher and optometrist at Aston University.She specialises in dry eye diagnostics and treatments, anterior ocular surface disease management, specialty contact lenses, Meibomian gland dysfunction and corneal pain.

She is member of the International Contact Lens Educators, and International Association for the Study of Pain, fellow of the British Contact Lens Association and associate fellow of the higher education academy.

She is the fellowship lead and chair of the standards and research committee for the British Contact Lens Association, an TFOS DEWS III ECR author, and the clinical supervisor for the NHS ocular surface clinic on the optometry programme at Aston University.
