Dr. Jim Kokkinakis graduated in 1983 from the School of Optometry and Vision Science at the University of NSW. He is primarily a clinician with special interests in customising contact lenses for corneal disease and myopia control, along with dry eye disease, ocular therapeutics, computer vision syndrome, and complex prescription spectacles. He is the CEO and optometric director of The Eye Practice in Sydney. Jim began part-time clinical supervision at UNSW in 1990, evolving into lecturing. Appointed Adjunct Senior Lecturer in 2011, he also worked at The Eye Institute from 1996 to 2002. He’s a regular invited presenter at national and international conferences.
